FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR

As the Fundraising Organizer with National Ground Game, Sterling Raiklen works to build bridges with a diverse coalition of organizations and connect with grassroots organizers to grow the presence of National Ground Game while simultaneously seeking out grant & fundraising opportunities. Mr. Raiklen has participated in political campaigns both David and Goliath in size - including Bernie Sanders 2016 & 2020 Presidential Campaigns, March For Our Lives Long Beach, No On Long Beach FIS International Airport, Al Austin for City Council & Erik Miller for School Board campaigns, and more. Mr. Raiklen knows the ins & outs of building winning grassroots campaigns simply by living it nearly half his life. His passion for deep conversation and open dialogue leads him to success both in voter door-knocking and in political bridge-building. 

After 8 years of working in southern California politics, Mr. Raiklen moved to Las Vegas, NV in the summer of 2024 to encourage Nevadan youth civic engagement. As the Nevada Deputy State Director of Progressive Victory's House Canvassing Program, Mr. Raiklen specialized in turning online passion into offline political action. Mr. Raiklen was responsible for the management, recruitment, training and scheduling of dozens of Nevadan volunteers. It was there his network grew into a diverse state-wide coalition of various political ideology to include RISE, Reproductive Freedom for All, Youth Voices NV, NextGen America, PLAN, For Our Future, the NAACP, and more - all of whom worked together in the successful re-election of the entire Nevada Democrat's Congressional delegation (Rep. Susie Lee, Rep. Dina Titus, Rep. Steven Horsford, and Senator Jackie Rosen) and retaining a significant Democratic majority in the Nevada State Legislature.

Originally raised in Long Beach, CA, Mr. Raiklen graduated with high honors from Millikan High School. There he developed a natural attraction to the constitutional & civil rights of others through his Mock Trial Program experiences. Mr. Raiklen received several recognitions including “Most Valuable Participant,” a Certificate of Excellence, and as Team Captain took their team to 2nd Place at the 2018 LBUSD Intramural Mock Trial Competition. Currently Mr. Raiklen attends the Colleges of Southern Nevada pursuing an Associate of Arts in Political Science with broader sights set on attending law school.
